BEECH
One of Europe’s most frequent and important hardwood specie.
The colour is reddish-whitish, often with a red heartwood. Compared with other European species, beech is large in dimension (often 50cm and more).
It is mainly used for veneers, furniture, parquet flooring and chipboard and is excellently suited for bending.
